As part of the Council’s Digital Transformation Programme, an exciting new development will take place at the Council offices in Cheshunt to design a new Customer Reception.
The new hub will provide a state-of-the-art welcome centre for customers and visitors to the Borough offices, allowing them to self-serve, attend appointments with staff and seek guidance on queries.
The hub will be complemented by a new and improved online service which will allow customers to interact with the Council at a time that suits them. The digital service will be rolled out in phases from July onwards.
With work commencing on Tuesday 7 May, there will be an eight week build time for the redevelopment. There will be a temporary reception area which will provide limited services with alternative access to the main offices through the staff entrance at the side of the building. Signage will be displayed informing customers of the arrangements and disruption will be kept to a minimum,
As part of these works, the payment kiosk sited in the existing main reception area will be removed. Information about alternative payment methods including debit and credit card, telephone payments and Direct Debit can be found online.
Information about the development will be shared via the Council’s website, Facebook page, www.facebook.com/thisisbroxbourne and Twitter feed @BroxbourneBC.
